Expansion joint covering

Flexobit is a non reinforced SBS modified bituminous membrane without reinforcement which imparts considerable elasticity and flexibility.

The Flexobit joint system is used as an expansion joint waterproofing system, ensuring the continuity of the waterproofing between different structures as well vertical than horizontal. The considerable elasticity and flexibility of this product permits its using for: roof garden, non accessible roofs, accessible roofs (like pedestrians and light vehicles) and various applications.

Application:

The Flexobit joints can be applied using hot air or torch. On concrete decks, it is advise to apply a layer of waterbased primer before applying the Flexobit.

Packaging:

Strips of 25 cm x 500 cm, packed in boxes of 500m¹.
Strips of 33 cm x 500 cm, packed in boxes of 375m¹.
Strips of 50 cm x 500 cm, packed in boxes of 250m¹.
Strips of 100 cm x 500 cm, packed in boxes of 125m¹.

Flexobit Cord

With the Flexobit membrane, we can supply on request a rotproof and hydrophobic Flexobit cord with a diameter of approximately 30 mm, sold in rolls of 10 m long. The Flexobit cord is used to maintain the lyre shape given to Flexobit in location of expansion joints.
