Non-reinforced waterproofing membranes

Traditionally, waterproofing membranes are being produced by pulling a reinforcement of polyethylene, polyester, glass or combination of polyester and glass through a bath of bitumen, impregnating the reinforcement and giving thickness to the membrane created. In this way, the characteristics of the bituminous compound are limited to the characteristics of the reinforcement.

In a completely stress free way, we are able to coat a 5 mm bituminous highly SBS modified compound on a 7 micron pe film at a width of 100 centimeters. In this way, the characteristics of the membrane are equal to the characteristics of the compound. This membrane called Flexobit can be finished with either talcum, slates or pe-film, depending on the application. By adding up to 100% more modifiers than are added to traditional membranes, we are creating a built-in network giving the membrane the strength it needs for functioning properly for a period of at least 25 years.
